2012 MET GALA hits and misses

 The MET gala, better known as the Metropolitan Art Costume Institute Gala 2012 was held in New York yesterday. Its the night were stars show of their fashion sense and designers works are displayed for the world to see.
 When Bruno Mars was on stage at the Gala he greeted the audience saying, "hello fashion", he couldnt have been more right.
  Designers definitely brought their A-game whilst dressing stars but as usual, there were hits and misses. there was alot of sequins on the red carpet of the MET gala this year.

Carey Mulligan always looks sweet but i'm not quite sure about her look in the sequined Prada

Lana Del Ray, i am a big fan of her music. she stunned in this custom Altuzarra sequined dress. however the cape and her dark make up i dont like much

Rooney Mara who likes to wear black alot looked great in custom Givenchy

Kirsten Dunst never impresses me,  she  wore this Rodarte  outfit that bored me, looks like a santa suit

i never understand anything that the Olsen twins wear, they always wear black and i never like the outfit.  Mary Kate here is wearing one of her designs.

Jessica Alba was a stunning goddess in her metallic gold Michael Kors grecian gown

Kristen Stewart fails in Balenciaga

i didnt like Rihanna;s look at all!  she wore a crocodile skinned  dress by Tom ford

super model and mother of one, Giselle Bundchen, wow-ed as always in her Givenchy dress

Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana has to be my favourite look of the night

Eva Mendez in Prada didnt interest me

Emily Blunt in a pink cut out  Calvin Klein dress,  i love the look

Emma Roberts gets is on the path of being a fashionista and aces the  look in this Escada dress, the  idea of the belt was just perfect!

Emma Stone gets it very right, looks very pretty in Lanvin

Sarah Jessica Parker gives me the creeps in her Valentino dress, she looks like she is wearing drapes.

Camilla Belle looks stunning in her  Ralph Lauren dress, hate her make  up however

my jaw dropped when i sighted Hilary Swank in this figure hugging Michael Kors

normally i am a huge fan of Leighton Meester, she looks gorgeous in  this Marchesa  gown, but just from her neck down. i dont get her face and hair.

Ashley Greene's white number from Donna Karan is sweet and lovely.

Lea Michelle's daring neckline and high slitted dress by Giambattista Valli screamed sexy, i love it

solange Knowles gets ten stars for her outfit, a canary yellow Rachel Roy gown, the minimal jewelry works well, allowing the dress to stand out, the hair is retro chic, her geometric cuff is to die for. 

i cant understand Florence Welch,t he 25year old who loves twice her age wore this lamp shade looking dress by  Alexander McQueen

Beyonce's dress by Givenchy was a topic on its own at the MET ball.

Gwyneth Paltrows dress by Prada, could have bit a hit but i think she missed it, too much boobs spilling out. however her hair looks great, compared to how lifeless she usually wears it. her clutch,earrings and shoes, perfecto!

Victoria secret Model, 28year old Anja Rubik looked awful. worst look! she had no underwear, her hair  looks awful, she is super skinny, no once of flesh on her just look at her knees and hip bones. she is channelling her inner Angelina Jolie her, sticking out her leg like its a prosthetic.
