The acknowledgement of high class fashion is not restricted to those who work in fashion alone and those of us who like to wear it. Rappers in the music industry have come to recognize the class that goes along with donning high class fashion labels.
Some don’t just flaunt their designer labels, they also rap about it and are seen at the fashion shows. A great example of a rapper who also has a flare for high street fashion is Kanye West.
Sometime in the year he designed shoes he called ‘cruel summer’ with Italian shoe footwear giant Giuseppe Zanotti which sold for about $6000. He at some point referred to himself as the Loius Vuitton don, he owns that much franchise and also designed shoes for Louis Vuitton and Nike sneakers called “Air Yeezy”. Just a few days ago he was spotted at Chanel fashion week, front row seats of course.
Rick Ross who is well known as rozay, called himself the Red bottom boss, due to his love for expensive and fine footwear designed by French power house Christian Louboutins. He is known to mention fashion brands in his bars quite often, he knows what we ladies love.

Some Rappers have transformed from their original image of wearing baggy jeans and so much bling and high tops by Sean John to three piece designer suits, belts, cufflinks, shoes and watches. They have finally come on board tasteful high street fashion. In their rapping about these fashion houses, they also motivate other rappers and listeners to acquire these luxury items
